My name is Jennifer Deaver and I am the Library Media Specialist at Montalvin, Bayview, Coronado and Riverside Elementary Schools. Growing up in this district, attending Grant, Adams and De Anza, I was happy to get to come back and work with students in WCCUSD, it's amazing that it has been five years now!
It's wonderful to see students excited to listen to stories and check out new books! I am especially happy to help kids that don't like to read find books that hold their interest. (I, myself, was one of those kids.) Even though the library will be digital this year, I will be offering read alouds to classes and recorded read alouds for students to watch and enjoy. We have a wonderful digital library that students can access, so a book is just a click away! Happy Reading!!
