  • PRINCIPAL'S WELCOME

    Dear Pinole Knight Families,

This is my fourth year working with the Pinole Middle community and it has been a pleasure to be here. My name is Bart Bowers. I have been associated with the West Contra Costa Unified School District for over thirty years. I attended Sheldon Elementary, Juan Crespi Junior High, and John F. Kennedy High School. My philosophy is that all students can!

The Key is connecting with students and discovering their needs for success. I am committed to cultivating a positive and inclusive school culture that prioritizes academic excellence, promoting a supportive environment where students, teachers, and staff can thrive. To achieve this I must be able to work with parents, teachers, and community members to make sure every child receives a high-quality education that teaches our children how to think and problem-solve.

Our Vision at Pinole Middle is a safe, welcoming, engaging, and inclusive environment for students, faculty, and families. We strive to ensure educational equity and close the opportunity gap by developing an interdisciplinary, inquiry-based learning model that fosters students to become self-directed, compassionate, life-long learners who understand that their local actions can lead to global change. I am proud to be a member of the Pinole Middle Knight family.

I look forward to our continued partnership with all Stakeholders of the Knight Family. My strongest asset that I have is that I am a great listener. Please feel free to reach out.

Give me a call or email.
