    Graduation: Satisfies both WCCUSD and US/CSU graduation requirements for one year.
    Description: Consists of learning the basic structure of the language, both written and oral. The primary objective is the ability converse and comprehend. Audio-visual materials and tapes are used. Students are expected to use their new language in spoken, and written expressions and through classroom projects. French culture is emphasized. Advancement to the next course requires a mark of "C" or better.

    Prerequisite: Teacher recommendation and successful completion of previous course .Students who's grades and test scores are lower than the required may ask the counselor for a waiver application.
    Graduation: Satisfies both US/CSU, and high school graduation requirements.
    Description: More emphasis on language structure and vocabulary with attention to speaking, listening, reading,writing. The reading materials are poetry, drama, short stories, and novels by important Spanish authors.

    Prerequisite: Teacher recommendation and successful completion of previous course .Students who's grades and test scores are lower than the required may ask the counselor for a waiver application.

    Description: More emphasis on language structure and vocabulary with attention to speaking, listening, reading,writing. The reading materials are poetry, drama, short stories, and novels by important Spanish authors. Students completing Spanish AP may take the Advanced Placement Spanish language test and will earn transferable college credit if passed.
