    Prerequisite: Referral and LEP certification
    Graduation: Satisfies WCCUSD graduation requirement for English credit.
    Description: Intended for non-English or limited-English speaking students. This course develops students' abilities to use English as their everyday means of communication. It consists of speaking, reading, and writing English based on daily experiences. Taken concurrently with E.L.D. 1B, 2B, or 3B.

    E.L.D. Reading 1B, 2B, 3B

    Prerequisite: Referral and LEP certification
    Graduation: Satisfies WCCUSD graduation requirement for English credit.
    Description: Intended for those who need additional language instruction. This course follows the main sequential skills of reading with an emphasis on second language acquisition. Vocabulary development and conversation are stressed. Taken concurrently with E.L.D. 1A, 2A, or 3A.

    Prerequisite: Referral and LEP certification
    Graduation: Satisfies both WCCUSD and UC/CSU graduation requirement for one year.
    Description: Intended for limited-English speaking students. This course develops abilities to read and write English as an everyday communication. It consists of learning to write using proper sentence structure.
