Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Eisenberg

Jared Eisenberg is our social sciences expert. He earned a BA in economics from Vassar College in New York in 2010 and his master’s degree in education from the University of Virginia in 2014.

Since moving to the beautiful Bay Area, he has taught grades 3-12 in a variety of settings. Having taught everywhere from downtown Newark, New Jersey to wealthy Boston suburbs, he knows how to connect with all students: by listening, caring, and laughing.

He has designed curricula for US History, World History, Economics, US Government, and Ethnic Studies. His specialty is creating in-depth simulations that help students understand the concepts by doing the concepts. For example, his students learn about American elections by acting as voters, journalists, and candidates, and they learn about the American Revolution by taking the helm of a colony from 1610 to 1776.

In his free time, Jared loves to parent his two sons, coach his elder son’s soccer team, and play board games.
