Greetings! 

My name is Faith Mazurczyk and I am ecstatic to be a teacher at Vista K-12 Virtual Academy! I have always loved working with students, but absolutely fell in love with virtual teaching as a Kindergarten teacher during the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic because it challenged me to think outside of the box to make learning even more fun. My biggest passion in education is teaching students how to read. I live for the “aha” moments when students finally reach their goals. 

I earned my Masters in Teaching and CA Multiple Subject Teaching credential from Biola University. I have taught grades K, 1, 4, 5-8 but have a love and passion for little learners. This is my fifth year teaching first grade and I am very grateful and excited for the school year ahead! 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two sons, reading, writing, baking, and traveling.
