Mr. Zamora

My name is Jessie Zamora and I am a supervising teacher and a mathematics teacher for Vista High School. I graduated from University of Perpetual Help Laguna (Philippines) with a degree in Secondary Education where I specialized in mathematics. Additionally, I have earned my post graduate degree (MA in Education) from the same university. I started teaching in the U.S. at West Contra Costa Unified School District in 2005 and joined Vista High School in 2021.

I have taught middle school mathematics (6th-8th), Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and A.P. Calculus throughout my career in the district since 2005. Prior to teaching here in the U.S., I taught high school mathematics and college mathematics courses in the Philippines for 16 years. I have also served as the Math Department Chair in high school and college (College of Education) and students’ Math Coach/Trainer for Inter-High School Math competitions in the Philippines.
