Dear Montalvin Manor Families,

We hope this letter finds you and your loved ones well and enjoying the summer break. As we prepare to welcome everyone back to Montalvin Manor for the new school year, we wanted to reach out and share our excitement for the year ahead. Our dedicated staff is thrilled to welcome both new and returning students. We have been busy preparing a vibrant and engaging curriculum designed to spark curiosity and foster a love of learning. Our teachers are eager to meet your children and work together to support their academic and personal growth.

What’s New: This year, we are excited to introduce Family Nights. Montalvin is proud to host families for three instructional nights and our student showcase. We invite you to join us as we discuss the exciting learning activities happening in our classrooms and explore ways to extend and support this learning at home. Literacy Night January 23, 2025 Math Night March 27, 2025 Student Showcase May 21st, 2025 How You Can Get Involved: We encourage families to stay actively involved in our school community.

Whether it’s through volunteering, joining the PTSA, or attending school events, your participation enriches the experience for everyone. In addition, we highly encourage you to attend our Parent Advisory Committees: School Site Council (SSC), English Learners Advisory Committee (ELAC), and African American Parent Advisory Council (AAPAC). Parent Advisory Committees provide opportunities for parents and guardians to work collaboratively with school administrators, teachers, and staff to address key issues, provide feedback, and support school initiatives.

Your voice matters! We truly value your input and look forward to seeing you at our upcoming meetings. Together, we can make a positive impact on our school and create an enriching environment for our students. Communication and Support: Clear communication is key to a successful school year. Please make sure your contact information is up-to-date so that you can receive all important updates and information. We use ParentSquare and Seesaw to send updates and information.
