    Weekly Agenda: 

  • ?In this beginning course, we will explore wind and percussion instruments through fun and exciting band repertoire! Students will specialize in playing an instrument from the woodwind, brass, or percussion sections, and will learn about music theory, music history, and sight-reading along the way. Students will prepare pieces for virtual performances and develop skills in string technique and musical artistry. We will work as an ensemble to create a group tone quality and balance between sections. Lastly, and most importantly, we will build a musical community together in which everyone is valued and respected.
